Program
Educational visits last between one and two hours and typically include an overview about bioenergy, a tour of JBEI’s laboratories and a STEM careers exploration session. Visits to JBEI can also be customized according to the students’ interests.
Audience
JBEI welcomes student visits at middle, secondary and tertiary education visits originating local, national and internationally.
Requesting a visit
Please Note: We currently have very limited capacity for educational visits and tours due to our research priorities.
To request an educational visit, fill out this form with minimum 6 weeks in advance of the requested visit date. Visits will take place Tues-Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. We are closed on public holidays. Note that visits to JBEI will only take place if a sufficient number of volunteers sign up to support the visits.
