The role of industry
To move biofuels from the flask to the fuel tank, JBEI recognizes the importance of developing its science and technology in close partnership with its industrial partners. So JBEI is creating an alliance with a vertically integrated group of companies that bring relevant scientific and market capabilities in areas such as energy, argibusiness, and biotechnology. Alliance members will have an opportunity to participate at a variety of levels commensurate with their interests.
Participating in JBEI yields numerous benefits, including the chance to partner with some of the world's finest scientists in shaping the biofuels research agenda, access to world-class equipment and facilities, and many opportunities to interact with the JBEI community. JBEI envisions industry participation across all levels of the organization.
