Nathan Hillson

Director of Synthetic Biology

Nathan J. Hillson

Nathan's goal is to coordinate and direct the development of the JBEI-ICE Repository, the characterization and standardization of biological parts, the computer-aided design of biological pathways and circuits invoking the standardized parts, and the automated assembly of the pathways and incorporation thereof into microbial hosts such as E. coli and S. cerevisiae, in collaboration with other scientists within the Fuels Synthesis and Technology Divisions, towards the sustainable production of clean biofuels.
